There is a funny thing that people try to avoid argument or saying any bad things at Tet. I love Tet holiday
Tet is a festival in Viet Nam,in Tet , i will make banh chung and lucky money for my grandchildren,and clean the house.I buy candy and cakes for my grandparent .And i will go to Tet(đi chúc tết),after,in meal,i eat banh chung and boiled chicken.This is my Tet
Tet is a national and family festival. It is an occasion for every Vietnamese to have a good time while thinking about the last year and the next year. At Tet, spring fairs are organized, streets and public buildings are brightly decorated and almost all shops are crowded with people shopping for Tet. At home, every is tidied, special food is cooked,offerings of food, fresh water, flowers and betel are made on the family altar with burning joss- sticks scenting the air. First-footing is made when the lucky visitor comes and children are given lucky money wrapped in a red tiny envelope. Tet is also a time for peace and love. During Tet, children often behave well and friends, relatives and neighbors give each other best wishes for the new year.

I very like watching cartoons. And of all the film I have seen, “Grave of the fireflies” is one in the cartoons which I like most. In Vietnamese it’s called is “Căn hầm đom đóm” or “Mộ đom đóm”. It’s a tragic story about two childents in the war. It’s made from Japan by Ghibli studio, directed and written by Takahata Isao. It is based on a nover of Nosaka Akiyuki. Film tells a painful story but moving to brothers sentiment of two orphaneds : Seita and Setsuko. They lost mother after a fierce bombing of American air force to Kobe city while their father combat for Japanese navy. So Seita and Setsuko must to struggle to exist between the famine and the resistance to merciless of surrounding people (that have their kinship). They have to live in a shelter-pit and often eat frogs and lizards. At the end, Setsuko have to die for hunger, pictures depict painfulness and the death of little girl can be considered as the most mournful film pictures in the cartoon Japan history. My home village is now different from the village in my father's story. in his story, my village is very poor.
Everyone live a hard life that time. People lack of food, of money. Now, it is different. People don't live a hard life anymore. They have enough food, enough money, everyone got a house, and many more things. The only things that doesn't change is sentiment. Everyone always be very happy. They live together, help each other when they need, that is a luxury.
That makes my village a wonderful place for everyone. People are just farmer, but they solidarity in the face of penury. And when they have money in their hands, they still solidarity they are friendly with others, they are helpful, they are good people. That's about people.
Landscape is still like the old days. That river, that mountain. Nature is harmony with people. People live with nature, people product things of nature, and nature always open-handed with people, give them resource for them to build their house. That is what people seek, and they live with it very well.

I feel very happy to ring in the New Year. Our Tet holiday is coming. This year I will clean and decorate our house. I will go for shopping to buy new things: clothes, furniture, sweets, fruit, peach blossom. I won't buy banh chung because we will do it our selves. And we also won't buy firework because we will go to the city center to watch firework. At Tet, people should get up early, dress beautiful and welcome New Year guest.
