I think the male teachers choose male class leaders because they are very strong in their words, always assemble the class very punctually, ... Girls can do that but girls can confide in having friends. something in the class has a problem. Generally boys or girls can do it but the experienced teachers still do not think that boys are always class leaders better than girls but keep voting boys to be the leader without giving girls a chance to express yourself.
I do not support the use of personal electronic devices in learning because I see a lot of their disadvantages.
First of all, electronic devices distract students from their studies. Many students may play games, text, chat and cheat on their smartphones or tablets. They can go on the Internet, type questions and search for answers.
Second, when students use the Internet, they have access to inappropriate information, videos and pictures. They may spend many hours reading and watching, forgetting about their projects or assignments.
Last but not least, students might take embarrassing pictures of others, share them on the web or use them to demand money or force people to do things for them.
In conclusion, personal electronic devices may bring more harm than good to students, suggest that teachers ban or limit their use in the classroom
I strongly support the use of personal electronic devices in learning because I see a lot of advantages.
First of all, they can be used for both research and study purpose. Students can use the— to download and store information and textbooks. This can help them save learning time and make their backpacks lighter.
Secondly, students can study better with modern technology because there are many useful learning applications on smartphones, laptop, tablets and other media players such as dictionary, spelling, translation, pronunciation and other apps.
Last but not least, mobile devices can help students communicate with each other or relax by listening to music and playing games when they are bored or tired of studying.
In conclusion, personal electronic devices bring more good than harm to students. I suggest: that teachers allow and encourage the use of these devices in learning both inside and outside of class.
In my opinion, there are 3 typical characteristics of the Vietnamese people.
First, it’s saving money. They usually save money from their young age and until their old age. Nowadays, in the city, this view seems to change but those in countryside still share this point.The second outstanding feature is they live modestly and always work hard. In the past, they live mainly on farming, they wake up early in the morning and work all long day on the farm till the end of afternoon. They also don’t demand too much for their life, which you can be seen when seeing their houses and their customs. Until these modern days, they still have this habit.Besides, Vietnamese are actually friendly and hospitable people. Their hospitality is shown clearly in the way they greet and treat their friends and visitors. Either pre-arranged or unexpected, you always can receive a warm welcome by Vietnamese people because this is a part of their traditional culture.
Despite going through many ups and downs, basically, Vietnamese have still kept traditional values in their lifestyle reflected in the relationship of family and friends.
