My mother is the one who I love most in my life. For what she’s done, she deserved with the whole world. My mother is a 43-year-old household wife. She’s tall, slim and especially she has a beautiful long black hair. She always smile thus everyone consider her a friendly person. My mom loves every members of the family with all her heart. She agreed to be a household woman instead of working out. My mother takes care of the household chorces. She wakes up earliest in the morning and goes to bed latest in the night. And during the day, she’s very busy. I remember once when my mother got sick so nobody did the house work and everything went to crazy. From then, my father and I join hand to help mother whenever we have free time. She’s really happy about that. When I was a kid, mom taught me to play piano at each weekend. I still remember the songs which includes many childhood’s experiences. Not only taught me to play piano, she also taught me to be a better human. I love the moral stories that she told me before I fell asleep every night. We’re really appreaciate mother’s effort, patient and her hard work to conserve the family’s happiness. My mother is an indispensable part of my life. When I grow up, I want to be a woman her.

Tôi vẫn còn nhớ những bài hát chứa đựng những kỷ niệm tuổi thơ. Không chỉ dạy tôi chơi đàn mẹ còn dạy tôi trở thành một người tốt. Tôi rất yêu thích những câu chuyện đạo đức mà mẹ kể cho tôi nghe mỗi tối trước khi đi ngủ. Chúng tôi trân trọng những nỗ lực, kiên nhẫn và công việc mệt mỏi của mẹ để giữ gìn hạnh phúc gia đình. Mẹ tôi là một phần không thể thiếu trong cuộc đời của tôi. Khi tôi lớn lên tôi muốn trở thành một người phụ nữ như bà.

My best friend in high school is Lan. Lan sits next to me in class, eats with me at break time, and hangs out with me after school. She has long and beautiful hair; my mother always says that I need to pay more attention to my hair so it can be pretty as hers. I am good at English while Lan is excellent in Math, therefore we can help each other every time one of us has trouble in understanding those subjects. Besides our study, Lan is always by my side whenever I feel upset. I tell her everything, and only her can know my true feelings. We have been best friends since our young age, and I will keep this friendship forever.

People say that friendship cannot exist between a girl and a boy, but I and my best mate Nam are proving that statement is wrong. Nam is my neighbor, and we are even study in the same class. Every morning, Nam stops by and picks me up in his bike, and sometimes I make him breakfast in other to thank him for being my driver. He is tall and slim, so I have to chase him when we walk together. He always makes a joke on me for being shorter than him. After school, we usually do our homework together at my house, and my mother always invites him to stay for dinner. We each other a lot, and we will be best friends forever.

I was born and raised in Hanoi. Hanoi has many unique landscapes and traditional beauty. The Hanoi man is hardworking and honest. Hanoians speak softly, with an upright personality, whoever met once will remember their old age. Hanoi’s specialty is probably the traffic jam. There are four people in my family: my parents, my younger sister and I. My father is a 45-year-old engineer. He spends most of his time in the building sites. That’s why he has a tanned skin. As soon as he comes home, he turns on the television to watch the news, relaxes for a while and then he takes a shower. In case my mother doesn’t cook dinner yet, my father is very happy to join hands and help her. Talk about my mother, she is a 40-year-old primary school teacher. Every morning, she is the one who wakes up earliest to prepare the breakfast, clothes and necessary things for my father, me and my sister. After we leave home to work or study, my mother will have a quick breakfast and drive to the primary school. After school, she runs fast to the market, buys some fresh food and backs to home to cook lunch. My father doesn’t come home at noon so only three of us eat and talk to each other during lunch. However, the lunch is still prepared very scrupulously. In general, my mother is a gentle caring woman and sometimes she is very strict. I have a younger sister who will be 8 years old next October. My sister is pretty, docile and hard studying. Every weekend, I take her to the park to have fun and we will buy some tasty ice creams. We are quite close and sometimes she makes me very angry because of her negligent habit. The last person in my family is me. I am studying in the second year of a Business Administration major at Hong Bang University. My schedule has changed frequently and I am also trying to get a scholarship to study abroad in Canada next year so I don’t spend much time with my family. But any time when I am free I try to help my mother in household chores and take care of my sister. In my family, each person has a different responsibility but we always stand together to enjoy happy moments, overcome the difficult time and solve the problems. I understand that there is nothing that is more important than my family. I love my parents and my lovely sister so much.

People say: Family where life begins and love never ends. There is only love from the bottom of the heart that could realize the meaning of that saying. My family is made up of 3 people: my mother, my younger brother and I. My parents have been divorced for 10 years. Since the pain that my mother had to suffer is too big so she doesn’t get married again and she has tried her best to take care of us. My mother’s main job is a pilot at Vietnam Airlines. Her flights could last for a few days or even a week. Sometimes we only meet her at the weekend. But my mother did hire an old house maid who is very careful and nice to take care of me and my brother while she is busy at work. We always look forward to receiving mother’s gifts after a flight. Left all the mess behind, my mother becomes a strong woman that she couldn't even imagine before. About my younger brother, he is the most mischievous person that I have ever known. Last semester, my brother’s teacher came to see my mother three times a week to complain about the things that he had done. However, he is very good at swimming. In addition, he is one of ten excellent students in school. That’s why my mother is always tolerant of his bad behaviours. In the opposite of my brother, I am quite staid and taciturn. But we are still very close and think about each other as a best friend. That makes my mother so happy. Now, I am no longer at home, I moved to Ho Chi Minh 2 months ago to study at university. I miss my mother, my brother and even my house maid so much. No matter how far I am away from home, my family is always in my heart because “family where life begins and love never ends”.
