=> We did not ...go far a pinic because of the rain weather...this morning

4     I am surprised that Mary is so happy after all the problems she has had [ happy]

=> I am surprised at....happy for Mary.......after all the problems she has had

5     My brother is not happy in spite of having lots of money [ even ]

=> My brother is not.....happy even though he has lots of.......money.
