Hi ! I'm a student in grade 6 of Le hong phong secondary school . It't located on PNL street .It's small but it's beautiful and clean with some big trees in the schoolyard .
There are about 750 students in my school . We wear uniform everyday. At school we have a lot of subject such as : Maths , Literature , English , History , Music , etc . My favourite subject is English . At break time , I often play football or read comics. After school , I help my parents do the housework . I love my school so much .

Hi Eric,
Long time no see you. How are you? How about the first exam you did at school?
Tet holiday is the biggest and the most important festival in VietNam. Tet often falls between late January and early February. Before Tet, my mother and I go shopping to buy clothes, candies, flowers, fruits and decorative items. My family always cleans and decorates our house together. On the first day of Tet, I don’t go out, I stay at home and sit around the pot of Banh Chung to talk, watch fireworks with my family. On the second day, I go to my grandparents’s house with my family and they give me lucky money. It’s always a nice day because I like to meet my grandparents so much! Next, on the third day, I visit my teachers and send them New Year wishes. And my favorite most is get the lucky money from the older because it brings me lucks in the year! Tet is one of the most impotant festivals in Viet Nam. This festival occurs in late January or early February. Tet is a time for family gathering .Some weeks before Tet, people often make a lot of prepairations and decorate their house , buy new clothes for each member in their family. At Tet, people often visit their relatives, gather with their family and eat some traditional food ,..ect... During Tet holiday, everyone feels happy and warm with their family. Each member feels that are concerned by their family and they will love their family more.

Referring to the New Year, I would be happy ! New Year this year, I hope to have a lot of fun! Which is lucky, eat sweets, ... And one thing that I least expect it's "Eve".
Every year, on 30/1, then I'm burning up! On this day, I want to sleep until 7:30 the morning, along with your breakfast US- close friend of my neighbor. Then walk around the street together. Noon, I wish everyone in my neighborhood would gather to eat bars, karaoke. In the afternoon, I, My and Huyen and I will go swimming. 4:00 And they went for ice cream. Finally the evening, me and my sister will be playing the computer, and play again just as the Kitchen God. And 8:00 to 11:30 sleep when my mother called up, just then, the sisters would burn sparklers. 12:00 arrived, my family will really warm Eve. And sleep together.
That's what I always wanted one. I hope this dream will come true!

Hello, my name is Phuong. I am 13 years old. I live with my family in Vinh city, Nghe An province, Vietnam. In my country, spring is the best season of the year because it has Tet holiday. In Tet holiday, the streets are very beautiful with green trees, flowers, and funny noisy. In every house, there are a big tree with many love flowers and plants. Any things else? Yes, there are a lot of delicous drinks, cakes and candies. In Tet holiday, children have money from adults. It's so greet. We enjoy a happy Tet holiday every years. To many Vietnamese, Tet holiday has to be one of the most important celebrations throughout the year that contains both important cultural and spiritual values. Tet usually takes place in late January and early February each year. The festival always fascinates people with tons of exciting activities such as cooking sky rice, decorating houses, as well as paripating in games that are held from places to places. Tet is also the time for family reunion, when people are off from work and can vist relatives, friends and colleagues frequently. Additionally, this is also the occasion for people to show gratitude to their ancestors as well as wish kids good fortune by giving them lucky money. To conclude, Tet is a really terrific holiday for the Vietnamese to relax, have fun and prace traditional customs as well.

My best friend is my classmate at school. She and I have been studying together since we entered school in kindergarten. We have studied together all these years. We also travel by the school bus together because we stay close to each other. Her home is only a ten minute walk from my place.
My friend is kindly and sweet-natured. We are always happy to be with each other. We enjoy studying, playing and eating together. If I am sad she will do all she can to make me smile and feel happy.
She has always been kind and helpful to me. When I miss school because I am unwell she comes to my place to share with me all that has been done at school. When she misses school I too help her with all that has been covered at school. We also play badminton together in the evenings.

Dear Trinh
Now, I fell very happy to tell you about my Tet holiday. Tet is coming.
At Tet, I will clean and decorate my house with my parents. I will visit relatives and grandparents. I will go shopping to buy new things: clothes, sweets, fruits,....... And I will buy peach blossoms or yellow apricot blossoms, too. I will watch firework but I won't buy it. I won't buy Banh Chung because I will help my parents to make it. I will get lucky money and make a wish, too.
During Tet, I should plant trees and invite friends home. I should get up early, too. However, I shouldn't bring home a black cat because if the cat cry, my family and I will not lucky all the year. I shouldn't ask for lucky money, buy some salt or fight. I shouldn't break things, too.

My Tet holiday ís very fun . Because I and my family go to visit my hometown . And we can play many funny games for Tet . And I don't do my homework at Tet holiday and I don't go to my school ... That everythings I think about my Tet holiday.
Tet is a national and family festival. It is an occasion for every Vietnamese to have a good time while thinking about the last year and the next year. At Tet, spring fairs are organized, streets and public buildings are brightly decorated and almost all shops are crowded with people shopping for Tet. At home, every is tidied, special food is cooked,offerings of food, fresh water, flowers and betel are made on the family altar with burning joss- sticks scenting the air. First-footing is made when the lucky visitor comes and children are given lucky money wrapped in a red tiny envelope. Tet is also a time for peace and love. During Tet, children often behave well and friends, relatives and neighbors give each other best wishes for the new year.
