Writing a holiday postcard
One of the last things you hear from your friends or neighbours as you go away on holiday is "Send us a postcard!"
It's one of those great holiday traditions, almost as "British" as a bucket and a spade on a beach. We send postcards (often on the last day of the holiday) to tell our friends what a great time we're having.
Holiday postcards have three main characteristics. They're short, positive (even if it's raining) and predictable in their content.
Here's a quick guide to writing a postcard. Choose any one of the adjectives to complete your sentences.

We’re having a good time here in Ho Chi Minh City, but the weather isn’t very nice. It rained almost every day, many streets were flooded. So I limited to go out. And there were too many traffic jams. There are many vehicles at rush hours and traffic jams occur frequently. It was more terrible when it rained heavily. However I also had great time when visiting some places. I went camping in Suoi Tien Park, I swam shallow in the artificial sea. If you went the War Remnants Museum and Reunification Palace, you would see a lot of physical reminders of the past. My feeling is very great and very difficult to describe. My period in Ho Chi Minh City was short and because of objective reasons, so I only visited those places. Tell you something, when I come back, we talk to each other more.

How are you doing? I'm writing to you from Kołobrzeg at the Polish Seaside. I'm there with my family. We have a great time, though the weather isn't so good, as we'd like. Therefore we spent our first day on a campside, where we are staying. Yesterday morning we climbed up to the lighthouse and the view were really great. And in the afternoon we went to the beach, where we were sunbathing and we were having a bath in the Sea. Tomorrow we're taking a treepboat on the lake next to our campside and in the evening we are going shoping and then eating ice-cream. As you know, our old house was not that specious and had only two bedrooms. With addition my baby girl we needed a bigger house. Neighborhood was also not that great and it was very far from Ben's office. It took long time to buy this new house, but believe me this is great one! My son is very happy to be at this new house. We have 3 specious bedrooms, a big size living and dining room and a fully equipped kitchen. My baby girl has a great space to crawl. It has a small backyard with a pet house for our doggy - Raju.
More importantly, this new house is very close to Ben's office. Now he is starting late to office and reaching back home early. Ben is also happy to give quality time for us, instead of wasting his time on long travel and traffic jams.

Dear Hoa,
I hope this letter finds you in the best of health. It has been more than a year since we got together. I enjoyed the time we spent together last time you visited and having a plan to have more fun this summer when we will be together.
Anyway, the reason I am writing this letter to you is I am moving to a new house. As you know that I had a difficult time last year in monsoon when my roof and walls got damped and started dripping water after which made me to spend on new carpets and furniture’s. Therefore I decided to move to another house that does not have the same issues.
Let me tell you about this new locality and house I am moving in, it is in a posh area of the city, which is clean and green. We have security guards and burglar alarm facilities available that give me sense of security and along with these facilities this new house has 4 bedrooms and every bedroom has an attached bath, one lounge and spacious kitchen. The interior is very beautiful.
I cannot wait to see you again. And don’t forget to give my love to all your family.

Ha Long Bay is fantas ! I 'm having a good time with my family here . The weather has been cool . The hotels 's okay , the seafood 's tasty , the people are incredibly friendly . Thanks for your email. Your room is so crazy, isn't it? Now, I'd like to tell you about my idea for the new room of the Crazy House hotel. Its name is Elephant Room. I choose Elephant Room because I love elephants.
The reason why people call 'Elephant Room' is there's a big elephant poster on the wall. I read a lot of books about elephant. Each elephant 's weight is 3 to 4 tons, but they are afraid of ants which is much smaller than elephants.
Let me describe Elephant Room. I strongly believe that Elephant Room is huge and modern. And I must admit. I think that there will be a big brown door and a huge window. That huge window will be made from glass. There will be a big elephant poster on the wall. There will be a bed in front of the window. The bed will be between two chests of drawers. The desk will at the corner of the room. There will be a desktop on the desk. We use it to play computer games. There will be a bookshelf next to the desk.
In the future, I am going to stay in Elephant Room. Because it is huge and modern.

From my understanding our parents don’t need money or giving them material things. I believe what would make them happy is to see us becoming upright and responsible individuals who can take care of themselves. Or when we study well, for instance score good grades at school, and most importantly work hard and succeed in our daily activities. Or being self-reliant, accountable, focused and respectful, we give our parents a sense of gratitude that their parenting role was worth the effort. In the above ways, my parent will feeling proud of us, they feel their efforts are not in vain. I think this would be the best way to repay them back for their love and sacrifices.
