We live in a small house in the center of Hanoi. My house is small but it is very beautiful. There are 3 floors in the house and it has 3 bed rooms, one kitchen and living room together, others is bed rooms. It is not a fantas house but comfortable. In my bedroom, we has bed, wardrobe, a piano, desk and computer, TV, CD payer…. The living room is small but it is very nice and the kitchen is very convenient. In bed room of my children, there is bed, desk and or wardrobe. In fact, it has very litter of decorating things pictures or painting. I prefer the comfortable than the fabilous. My house also has a small garden with some trees and flowers that my husband is planted. My house isn’t large but it very beautiful, and I love this house so much. My husband and I had try so much to get it and the most important thing it is the place where all members of my family share the happiness and sadness and hurts together.

My mother is a person I admire most. She devoted a lot of time and energy to the upbringing of my brother and I. Despite working hard, she always made time to teach us many useful things which are necessary and important in our later lives. Moreover, she is a good role model for me to follow. She always tries to get on well with people who live next door and help everyone when they are in difficulties, so most of them respect and love her. I admire and look up to my mother because she not only brings me up well but also stands by me and gives some help if necessary. For example, when I encounter some difficulties, she will give me some precious advice to help me solve those problems. She has a major influence on me and I hope that I will inherit some of her traits. I want to say one thing with her: "I love you so much, the best mother"
My mother is a teacher, and her name is Thanh. She is 40 years old. She is tall and slim, and she has bright skin with long black hair. She is a very nice and friendly person. Her students always give her compliments, and they love to study with her. Every day, she wakes up at 6 o’clock to cook breakfast for me, and then she goes to school. She teaches Math at a secondary school, and she is a very good teacher. She comes back home at 5 o’clock in the afternoon, and I help her to make dinner. Her hobbies are reading books, listening to music, and doing shopping. At the weekend, she usually goes to the mall to buy something she s, and I really enjoy going with her. I have a bestfiend and also a neighborhood whoes name is Tuan. His age is the same as mine but he looks older than me. Because he’s very tall and thin, everybody calls him “a palm”. Tuan has a short curly hair and beautiful chestnut brown eyes that appeal of many girls. He is a person of very few words that makes him to be a good listener. Anyone, who has ever contacted with Tuan, thinks about him as a glacial boy. In fact he’s really warm and nice. He’s willing to help people whenever possible. When I was in secondary school, I found Math was very difficult to understand but Tuan solved the Math problems so fast. He spent all seven nights of weeks to help me in Math while he could go out to relax. Tuan was a good all-rounder exception English. Most of the teachers in school and parents highly appreaciated his talent. Only a month ago, he received two full scholarships from America Government to study oversea but he has not yet decided whether he should go or not. Although he has not spent much time to take part in sport activities, he is a well football player. We were in Ha Noi Young Football Team when we were in grade 10. Everything seems perfect to my bestfriend but he’s very modest and always talks to himself to give more effort. I’m proud of Tuan and pray for the good things beside him forever.

After stress and pressure in life, one always has a place to come back called home. I love decorating my own bedroom. My bedroom is on the second floor near my parents’ bedroom. There is a double bed for my younger sister and me. I usually lie above her so that it is easier for me to study late at night without annoying her. The room has a big wood wardrobe, which contains all of our clothes such as: dress, jean, t-shirt and sock. Beside, my mother bought us a dressing table on my 15th birthday; therefore, I put all the makeup-stuff and bandeau here. In the corner stand a large bookshelf in order to store books, academic document as well as family passe-partout. Next to it is a table with a desktop so as to help us investigate more knowledge on the internet. My sister and I really enjoy decorating the room with sker such as: mickey, boo bear, hello kitty, angry bird and so on. Beside, we also sk glow-in-the-dark tape on the ceiling and it turn out to light when darkness comes. Moreover, the room is designed with pink and deep blue so it brings us cozy and fresh feeling when putting step into it. The bathroom is in my room too. It is quite small but always clean and restful as we tidy it up every week. My father suggests having a bathtub; however, we don’t agree since we enjoy having a shower instead of lying in tub. Bedroom is a resting place after a hard studying day; hence we always clean it up so that it is neat and comfortable.

There are four people in my family – my parents, my little sister and I. I love them all, but my favorite one is my mother. Her name is Mui, and she is 39 years old. She works as a manager at a furniture store, therefore she is quite busy. She leaves home at 7 and a half in the morning after making breakfast for the whole family, and she usually comes home late in the evening. She is a beautiful woman with an ideal height, long curly hair and a pair of big round eyes. However, because she spends too much time and effort on her work, she starts to have some signs of old aging such as small wrinkles and freckles on her skin. Since she has to work with many employees, she usually has a serious look on her face, and her voice is a little bit loud. However, she is actually a very nice and outgoing person. She always tries to help the staffs with their work, and she is very devoted to her job. At home, she talks to us in a more gentle voice, and there are very few times when she scolds us. She rarely has time to relax and take care of herself, but some of her favorite things to do when she has any spare time are reading novels, watching romantic movies, and chatting with us. I know she works under a lot of pressures, so I always talks to her about funny and interesting things at my school, and she seems to enjoy my stories very much. My mother is such a great woman when she can be both a good supervisor and a good mother. I love her a lot, and she is my goal to strive for my future.

My father is a talented engineer. This year, he is 42 years old. His building looks very healthy with a slightly tan skin. He has an angular face and curly black hair trimmed neatly. People often praise him as a kind, generous and estimable man. When neighbors have trouble, he is not afraid but be willing to help. At work, he is quite hard working and strict so he is should be loved and trusted by all colleagues. Most of the time my father works away from home, but he always tries to arrange time for our family. At home, Dad often help mommy with housework, cleaning, watering plants, ... and take care of our study. My father and I have the same hobby as swimming, so we always go to the swimming pool near the house to make out who swim better. Besides swimming, he is also gifted in some other sports such as football, badminton, table tennis, basketball, etc. In my eyes, he is also a wonderful friend and teacher. I share with him a lot of happiness and sorow, even the secret. He always llistens, feels sympathetic, and gives me useful advice. Thanks to him, I also learn a lot of good skills such as repairing electrical appliances, driving a motorbike, fishing ... My house is the place where I love the best. It’s located in Phuc Tho District,Ha Noi City. My house is quite wide, its area is approximately 90 square metres. There is a garden in front of my house. The garden brings to my house a natural and peaceful atmosphere. My house has 2 floors and one terrace. Its surface is painted by green and looks very bright and charming. On the first floor, there are three rooms: a living-room, a kitchen and a bathroom. When you come in, the first room you can see is the living-room where my family welcomes guests and relaxes. Next to the living room is the kitchen where I love so much because I really cooking for my family. And behind the kitchen is the bathroom, the bathroom are quite clean wide room and very modern.
