Neil Armstrong is an American astronaut. He is known as the first person to walk on the Moon. He was born on August 5th, 1930 in Wapokoneta in Ohio. From 1949 to 1952, he worked as a pilot in the United States Navy. Armstrong received his B.S (Bachelor of Science) from Purdue University in 1955. He joined the NASA astronaut program in 1962. Neil Armstrong became the first human to step on the Moon's surface on July 20th, 1969. Armstrong received his M.S (Master of Science) at the University of Southern California in 1970. In 1971, he resigned from NASA and from 1971 to 1979, he taught at the University of Cincinnati. In 1986, Armstrong was appointed vice chairman of the committee that investigated the space shuttle Challenger disaster. He is also well-known for what he said when he stepped on the moon's surface: "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind."

Miss Grace is our teacher of English this term. She has been teaching in our school for three years ever since her return from London, but I have never attended her classes before.
She is rather tall for a lady, about twenty-three years old, and I find her really slender. She puts on a little make up in very discreet manner. Though young and attractive in appearance, she is dignified and reserved. She is some what strict at times, but never too severe or stern. Her patience is wonderful she will never give up explaining until every one of us understands.
Her method of teaching differs somewhat from that of our former teacher. She pays much attention in correcting our pronunciation and drills us in expressing ourselves in short English sentences. At the end of each lesson, she gives us assignments and lets us work out ourselves. Her method means more work for us to do in the evening, as we have to consult the dictionary again and again; but this Giúp us to remember the new words and phrases and we feel that we have been making rapid progress.

Her birthday is october 22. we used to be classmates in the secondary shool. she iss a pretty girl, she is tallish with long black hair and clear black eyes. Her face is roung looks very sprightly. We have been friends because we nearly have the same personality and qualities. she likes go shopping, traveling, playing game and animals. I always love to go out with my family, and going to Dam Sen theme park was one of my favorite event. We went there in the early in the morning to get the ket because it was weekend. Once we got inside the park, we started to follow the map to visit everywhere. First, we bought some snacks and drinks to eat on the way, then we sat down near the lake to have a small picnic. Next, we joined in the playground section to play many different interesting games. My sister, my father and I decided to went inside the haunted house while my mother stood outside. I screamed as loud as I could, and I ended up having a sore throat. Later we got on the roller coaster, the racing cars and rode the fake bulls. Most of the time my mother just stood outside and kept our belongings, but sometimes she also joined some easy games as well. We left the park in the evening, and it was such a great day to create memories with my family.
