Emperor Tu Duc enjoyed the longest reign of any monarch of the Nguyen dynasty, ruling from 1848-83. Although he had over a hundred wives and concubines, he was unable to father a son (possibly he became sterile after contracting smallpox). Thus, it fell to him to write his own epitaph on the deeds of his reign. He felt this was a bad omen, but the epitaph can still be found inscribed on the stele in the pavilion just to the east of the Emperor's tomb. This stele is the largest of its type in Vietnam, and had to be brought here from a quarry over 500 kilometers away--a trip that took four years.
Tu Duc began planning his tomb long before his death in 1883. The major portions of the tomb complex were completed from 1864-67, along with future temple buildings that served as a palatial retreat for Tu Duc and his many wives during his lifetime. Construction of the tomb demanded so much corvee labor and extra taxation that there was an abortive coup against Tu Duc in 1866. This was put down, and for the remainder of his life, Tu Duc continued to use the tomb's palace buildings as his place of residence.
Amenities for the living are unmatched at any other tomb in Vietnam. Here, the Emperor could boat on the lake and hunt small game on the tiny island in the lake's middle. He could recline at Xung Khiem Pavilion and recite or compose poetry in the company of his concubines. After trips on the lake, the boats would moor at Du Khiem Pavilion, from which the Emperor and his entourage could walk directly west into the palace area of the tomb.
After the Emperor's death in 1883 his adopted son Kien Phuc took over as the Nguyen Emperor. Perhaps because he only ruled seven months before dying, a separate tomb was not established for him. Instead, he was laid to rest in a small corner on the grounds of Tu Duc's tomb. Between the tombs of Tu Duc and his son is the tomb of Empress Le Thien Anh, Tu Duc's primary wife.
Interestingly, despite the grandeur of the site and the amount of time Tu Duc spent here, he was actually buried in a different, secret location somewhere in Hue. To keep the secret safe the 200 laborers who buried the king were all beheaded after they returned from the secret route. To this day, the real tomb of Tu Duc remains hidden for future generations to discover.
I like a modern city life, where I can expand everything in the future. However, everything has both good sides and bad ones. City is a place where life has always become modern and freedom. In there, there are many up-to-date houses and streets are often crowded. We can go shopping and buy everything what we need. If we are sick, we can go to the best hospital or find to the own doctors. Moreover, we can receive education in schools, colleges and universities. There are many entertainments such as parks, museums and so on. Additionally, people in the city approach much informations from social media, adverting. On the other hand, city life is very fast and busy. Everybody always try their best for a better life, a better luck and a better opportunity. Although the city has modern vehicles, it make air pollution. It is a significant contributor to the degration of life quality. I think we should have many solutions to take to tackle these important problems.

Picnics are liked by everyone, but children especially jump for joy when the word is mentioned. That is what happened to us when we learnt that a few families from our colony had planned on a day’s outing to the nearby Park.
The exciting day arrived and we packed ourselves and all the picnic gear into a van and set off. We had already booked a guest house for the day. We children quickly freshened ourselves and ran to play in the grounds.
When all our parents were ready, we walked to a small river nearby to picnic in its banks. Then the elders chose a place where the water was only two or three feet deep.
After that we had a hearty lunch of some of the tastiest things that our mothers had ever prepared. We then went around the National Park itself. it was very tiring, but we were thrilled when we saw a herd of elephants in the distance. We also saw several colorful birds and even a green snake.
We returned to the guest house and played some more games till evening. By then we were thoroughly tired. The warm bed after the ride home was very welcome. It was one of the happiest days of my life, and I will always cherish its memory.
I hope it's help you.

As you know, animals play an important part in our environment. They help maintain the biodiversity in nature. Today many animal species, however, are in danger of extintion. The reason causing the decrease in the number of animals is mainly from human beings. It is high time we must take some measures to protect endangered animals.
Firstly, we should educate people from the young age about the importance of wild animals in maintain the ecosystem and biodiversity. Young people should be educated how to protect our environment in general and how to protect endangered animals in particular. They should be told about the things that threat the safety of wildlife so that they can avoid doing them. This should be included in their curriculum at school.
Secondly, the governments all over the world should set up national parks and wild-life preserves as many as possible. Thanks to these places, animals will have a suitable habitat to survive and good conditions to grow and multiply. There they can be kept in a natural and safe environment.
Last but not least, each nation must enforce stricter law with more serious punishment- capital punishment, for example- to prevent people from poaching rare and valuable animals.
In general, protecting wild animals is not a person's work but it needs the solidarity of human beings all over the world. I should think each of us has the responsibility for protecting and saving endangered species before it is too late."

My favorite food is phở, a Vietnamese noodle soup. Bursting with rich flavors, phở combines aromatic broth, tender rice noodles, and savory herbs. Whether it's beef or chicken, the hearty broth warms my soul. The garnishes of lime, bean sprouts, and basil add a fresh kick. Phở is not just a meal; it's a comforting, flavorful experience that always leaves me satisfied.

Between August and November 1888, the Whitechapel area of London was the scene of five brutal murders. He was rightly called Jack the Ripper. The ripper was an infamous serial killer. He was the first serial killer to do so in a largely populated area, although it seemed he had no malice for other people. The ripper also had no accomplices and accessories to the crime. Another fact was that he escaped with no charges. All the women murdered were prostitutes, and all except for one (Elizabeth Stride) were horribly mutilated.
His method of attack was to let these prostitutes ‘seduce’ him into using them for their services, which at that time he would strangle them, making them unconscious and killing them, this was done by stalking his victims. This was no motive in his killing either. Oddly enough, it is shown that Jack the Ripper that this murderer was nice to his victims in certain ways.
The first murder, of Mary Ann Nicholls, took place on 31 August. Her throat was cut and her abdomen was cut open brutally, it showed the intestines. She was found by Mr. Llewellyn.
Annie Chapman was killed on 8 September. Her throat was cut and was very maimed. The abdomen was cut open and her intestines were placed on her shoulders.
Elizabeth Stride was murdered on 30 September. Her throat was cut, but she wasn’t maimed. She was found by Mr. Phillips and Mr. Blackwell.
Catherine Eddoweson was also murdered on 30 September. Her throat was cut, her abdomen was cut open and the intestines were placed on her right shoulder. She had a lot of injuries in her face and her left kidney removed. Pieces of Eddowes apron were found in the doorway of a building in Goulston Street. Above her was written a message with chalk: ‘ The juwes are the men that will not be blamed for nothing’.
Mary Jane Kelly was killed on 9 November. She was the youngest and most comfortable of Jack’s victims and she was the most and badly maimed. Many think that she was the only intentional victim. She was murdered in her own room and her heart was missing.
There had been much speculation as to the identity of the killer. It has been suggested that he or she was a doctor or butcher, based on the evidence of weapons and the mutilations that occurred, which showed a knowledge of human anatomy.
Violence to prostitutes wasn’t uncommon and there were many instances of women being brutalised, but the nature of these murders strongly suggests a single perpetrator.
Jack the Ripper was never caught and he is not thought to have killed again after November 1888.
