The world’s first film was shown in 1895 by two French brothers, Louis and Auguste Lumiere. Although it only (1) of short, simple scenes, people loved it and films have (2) popular ever since. The first films were silent, with titles on the screen to (3) the story.

Albert Einstein was (1) born in 1879 in Ulm,Germany. He graduated (2)from the University of Zurich in Switzerland in 1905. In 1905 he also did some of his famous work in (3)Physics. In 1919 he (4)won the Noble Prize for Physics. (5)Between 1919 and 1933 he lived in Germany and traveled a lot to talk to (6)other scientists.
