During my summer break, which was right after I finished my 9th-grade exams and got promoted to 10th grade, I have been keeping myself busy with various activities. Firstly, I spent some quality time with my family. We went on a short trip to the beach, enjoying the sun, sand, and waves together. It was a refreshing and relaxing experience that rejuvenated my spirits.
Apart from that, I also dedicated a significant portion of my summer to enhancing my English language skills. I enrolled in an English language course where I had the opportunity to practice speaking, listening, reading, and writing. The classes were engaging and interactive, allowing me to make new friends with whom I could practice conversing in English.
Furthermore, I engaged in recreational activities to make the most of my holidays. I indulged in my hobbies like reading books, painting, and playing sports. These activities not only provided me with enjoyment but also helped me develop new skills and broaden my horizons.
To balance my productive and leisure activities, I made sure to allocate some time for relaxation as well. I enjoyed watching movies, spending time with friends, and exploring new places in my city. These moments gave me a chance to unwind and create beautiful memories with my loved ones.
Overall, my summer break was a fulfilling one. It allowed me to bond with my family, improve my English proficiency, explore my interests, and take moments to relax. I am thankful for this wonderful break, as it has prepared me for the challenges that lie ahead in 10th grade.

One morning, as I was walking along a road, I suddenly caught sight of two robbers. One of them had a gun in hand.
The robbers had attacked an old man in broad day-light. They forced the man to give them all money he had. Then the robbers disappeared from the scene as quickly as they had appeared.
The old man now shouted for help to catch the robbers; but no one cared to stop and listen to his cries or the story of the robbery. I too made no attempt to help the old man. Everyone seemed to be afraid or to feel that robbery was a common even on the roads.
The old man then slowly walked away, with tears in his eyes. I felt very sorry for him.

English is the most common language all over the world. There is no compulsory method to study English, but each person has to find the suitable one to study it efficiently. To me, I read books in English in order to improve both my vocabulary and grammar. Besides, I combine studying and entertaining. In my free time, I often listen to English songs, watch English movies and try to translate the lyrics as well as the subtitle. Furthermore, I join an English club, where I can connect with some international friends, and they are the best teachers to teach me about English. I can learn some slang, idioms, and things that normal teachers do not teach their students. I hope you can find your own ways to learn English.

We can do grammar exercises in grammar books,write E as much as possible. It makes us revise our knowledge and improve our writing skill. We can wath E on TV , learn to sing E songs,read short stories or newpapers in E,listen to the programs on the radio and E tapes.It makes us improve our listening and reading skills.We should use a distionary for reading. Without doubt, English is the most widely spoken language in the world. There are many benefits to be gained by learning English. English is an international language.It is very popular in the world.Therefore,I like to learn English very much.There are many reasons for learning English but I have three main reasons for it:find a good job,communicate with foreigners and especially catch up with the age. Firstly,we learn English to find a good job easily after graduation from college. I think it is right. If we want to work in foreign companies with high salary,first of all we have to know to use English.We have to write CV in English and speak English to employer in an interview that required.And I am sure that if we are good at English and a little experience in work we get,we will have a good job with high salary that we always want.Secondly,communicating in English with foreigners is very useful.Actually,we have many opportunities to learn and understand clearly about differences between British and American English.Moreover,they will correct us when we make mistakes in using words in English.That helps us improve English very much. Thirdly,we are living in the area of information technology.Therefore,we have to use personal computer in our work.And if we know English,we can read English News to know what happening in the world,listen to our favourite English songs or play games in free time.And it is very useful for us to relax after hard working days.Learning English brings us many opportunities to catch up the age.We can broaden knowledge and study many things from it.We can know about cultures,manners and customs from many countries in the world. Today, I am 15 years old, so I hold a birthday party at my house. The party began at 7h p.m and finished at 9h30 p.m on October 15th. I invited a lot of close friends and intimate friends take part in the party. There is a two layer birthday cake with fifteen candles on the table. After people sang “Happy Birthday” song, I blew out the candles and cut the cake. Everybody ate cake and played mini games together. Finally, my friends returned their home, although they all tired, they felt so happy. Regarding me, I cleaned and washed up the party, then I went to sleep.
