Yesterday was my lucky and unforgettable day because I won the 1st award in my school’s swimming competition.
Well, where shall I start? Our headmaster required each class to offer at least one swimmer for this competition.I’m not very good at swimming, but my classmates can’t swim. So I became a reluctant competitor.
To be honest, I felt unenergetic when being gathered by the referee. Suddenly, there was a gunfire which made me scared to death. ''A terrorist attack?'' wondered I. Being too scared, I jumped into the swimming pool and tried all my best to swim quickly to the opposite side. I wanted to escape from this chaos.
Guess what! I opened my eyes wide with amazement when the headmaster announced the winner’s name. It was me!
