At my age, I have not been donate blood so I often donate books, toys and clothes for street children and homeless people. I often do this work with my mother. Latest here on Sunday, I with my mother was used to donate books and clothes for a charity organization. In here, I met the orphans children. I played with them. Then I gave candies to them. They were all very happy.Some people think doing volunteer work is waste of time but in my opinion, doing volunteer work help me relax after school and it help me healthy. It saves many people’s lives and even improves to create a better living standard. Third, music is not simply rhythm it’s an art. Since music expresses feeling and emotion, it is a tool to heal one’s soul. A good example is that when you are in good mood, you listen to energy rock music; however when you don’t feel like doing anything, you need some relax music as country or romantic country. Human cannot lead a happy life without music cause music is a part of life, it appears on several environments. Nowadays, there are more and more intellectual-property pirates, which leads to suspicion on serious artists. Therefore, if an artist wants to become successful, they have to work on their own and totally commit to their work of art. Music is a diverse topic that many mysteries can be discovered from it; moreover, people have a right to protect and preserve this kind of art.
Arts have helped me a lot! As you may be aware, I have special needs! Due to that, I could neither communicate well, nor do well academically. If there was something I could do well, it was music. Music has changed my life. Now I want to use music as a way of connecting with people. If it helped me, it could help a lot of other people who went through difficulties.
Arts is not a waste of time. It is not useless. Arts are very essential to our lives. Yes, I may not get a wonderful job, but as long as it gives me happiness, and gives the best out of me, and at least getting some payment, what's the problem?
So my request is to please take the arts seriously. Don't treat the arts as useless thing. Don't think that it destroys education, because it doesn't!
To the education board, please don't ever think of cutting the arts. If you care about your student's education, then please consider the arts in your school. The arts bring out the best in everyone. Hope you understand.

We received our first semester report a few days ago. I got good grades for Science, English and History, but my math result was poor. My math teacher asked me to spend more time on it. I must study harder next semester.
It is almost Tet. That`s the Lunar New Year Festival in Viet Nam. I think I told you about it in my last letter. We`re going to Hue tonight to celebrate the festival with my grandmother. I`ll send you a postcard from there.
