Paper is named for papyrus, a reed like plant used by ancient Egyptians as writing material more than 5000 years ago. The Chinese invented the paper that we use 2000 years ago.

Dear Mum and Dad,
This is just a quick letter to let you know that I’m fine. We’re all working quite hard because the exams are only a few weeks away, but our teacher (1) _________ he thinks we’ll do well.
