My best friend is Lan. We have known each other since we were 10 years old. If I were to describe how she looks I would say she is very pretty. I lived in Boulder, Colorado for most of my adult life. It's a broad mix of socio-economic statuses but overall it's a very liberal town that's often compared to the likes of Austin, Santa Cruz, San Fran, or Portland. My house was in the south eastern end of town and was three houses down from an elementary school. It was set a few blocks in from the highway so while access was convenient there was no road noise, and I was about a block away from the nearest two lane (each way) road. CU Campus was about a 14 block walk west and if you could get a line of sight from the trees the Flatirons were clearly visible in the same direction. Neighbors ranged from college students, to middle aged professionals to even a few retirees.
