The new year festival is so important to me and also to all Vietnamese citizens. The reason is because we get more days off from work and study, and therefore we have more time to spend with our families and our loved ones. It is also a great time to think about what we have done in the previous year, and to make plans for the upcoming year.

There are some common things that people do during this festival. Perhaps the most important thing is that people who work and study in big cities would go back to their hometown to celebrate the new year with their families and relatives. The new year festival is one of very few occasions that families can gather together, so it is easy to understand why everyone in Vietnam expects this festival so much. Another thing that we usually do is that we give children some “lucky money” with the hope that it will bring fortune to those kids. We also have some other activities such as making “chung” cake, visiting temples and pagodas… and so on.

Tet is a traditional holiday of our country, Vietnam.
It often begins in late-January and ends in early-February. With the meaning of seeing the old year off and welcoming the new year, Tet becomes a special occasion of reunion for Vietnamese families. At that time, all family members try to come back to their home and get together to make such preparations for Tet as buying new clothes and cleaning their house. A branch of apricot blossoms or a Kumquat tree is indispensable decoration for every family in these days. They seem like a fresh air to the house. We display a tray full of fruits and vases of flowers on the ancestral altar.
Some typical Tet's food are sweets, coconut jam, fruit candies, melon seeds, stew pork with eggs, and especially sticky rice cake. Tet meals are usually bigger and more delicious than our daily ones.
On Tet holiday, people have many recreational activities. Young persons take part in the traditional games such as: tug of war, cooking rice, cock fighting, watching lion dance. Many people visit relatives to wish a happy new year. Adults will give lucky money to children. Woman like going to pagoda to wish good things for their family.
In my opinion, I like cozy and fresh Tet atmosphere. All family members gather and talk about resolutions for a happy new year. I can hang out with my friend and don't worry about anything.
" Tet" holiday is always in Vietnamese's heart.

Long time no see you. How are you? How about the first exam you did at school?
Tet holiday is the biggest and the most important festival in VietNam. Tet often falls between late January and early February. Before Tet, my mother and I go shopping to buy clothes, candies, flowers, fruits and decorative items. My family always cleans and decorates our house together. On the first day of Tet, I don’t go out, I stay at home and sit around the pot of Banh Chung to talk, watch fireworks with my family. On the second day, I go to my grandparents’s house with my family and they give me lucky money. It’s always a nice day because I like to meet my grandparents so much! Next, on the third day, I visit my teachers and send them New Year wishes. And my favorite most is get the lucky money from the older because it brings me lucks in the year! Lunar New Year or Tet is a traditional festival in Viet Nam. It's the biggest festival in Vietnam. It is held in late January and early February. It's the time when family members reunite and celebrate the occasion together. Tet's preparation lasts many weeks. One or Two dáy before Tet, people make chung cake and Tet cake. Every one is busy buying new clothes, cleaning and decorating their houses and cooking some trditional food such as: jam, picked onion, gio, spring roll, frozen meet,..., Home is often decorated with plants and flowers at this time. Peach blossom is traditional at Tet in the north.While apricot blossom is traditional in the South. Besides, the kumquat tree with its ripe deep orange fruits is popular throughout the country. On the last of the year, preparation for new year is completed. Families have a New Year's Eve supper together and expect the New year's eve. At the mid-night, everyone performs ritusl offering to the ancestor on the New Year's Eve. People believe that what they do on the first day of the year will influence their luckiness during the whole year. On the first day of the year , people visit relatives, friends. neighbors,.... Children receive their lucky money inside red envelops. Some people go to pagoda to pray for a happy new year for their family, Tet is really a time of fun and festival throughout the country

The Vietnamese people celebrate the New Year ( Tet) on the first three days of January according to the Lunar calendar.To prepare for Tet,these days,they often paint their houses.They buy a lot of fresh fruit,flowers and make many delicious dishes.They make sticky rice cakes because they are their traditional cakes.People who work a long distance away try to get home on these days.On the first day of Tet,people often offer these good fruit and food to their ancestors and after that the whole families enjoy the food.They also visit pagodas,temples,their relatives and friends.Children are very happy to get lucky money from the adults.There are a lot of traditional games and contests at Tet such as rice-cooking, fire-making, water-fetching, buffalo-fighting, ect.They are really interesting. It's Ha Long Bay ia in Quang Ninh province. It ia very far. It's about 100km from my house. I can get there by bus. It's very beatiful flase. It has many islands, caves and seafood. I like take a boat ride to Tuan Chau island and sunbathe on the beach. I hope I'll have a chance to visit is next summer.

I think music and art shuoul be compulsory subjects at school
Because music helps you relax when you feel tired and bored and help us improve pronunciation .
Because art helps you have a creative , paintien and beautiful of your life.
Music and art are "the good food" when we are tired of free . They can make you happily more and they can help you "kill time" comfortably . And when you sad . let's sing a song , play a musical or draw some pictures . It's so easy but it can make you love your lìfe more and not bored at all time . Why can it make that ? Because it was born and it only has helps us improve pronunciation . It isn't the tool to helps us rich !

Bat Trang Porcelain Village is a traditional pottery-making village, which is located in the Northern of the Red River, Bat Trang town, Gia Lam district, Ha Noi. The pottery here is made of a special kind of clay – the white clay.
The craftsmen only use their hands to knead the clay into the shape of the bowl, flower vase, etc. Then, they draw lively pictures or patterns on the products and glaze them. After that, these kneaded-clays will be put into the kiln for heating.
The pottery products of Bat Trang Porcelain Village are always famous for the skillfulness, subtleness and the diversity of product’s shapes such as small bowls, large bowls, flower vases, pots, thuribles, etc. Especially, all the handicrafts of this pottery-making village are waterproof and fade-resistant.
The glaze of Bat Trang is also very subtle and unique with the secret recipe, which is handed down from generation to generation. Those values have created such an irresistible attraction and appealing feature for Bat Trang village. This is the reason why this traditional handicraft village can attract so many tourists as well.
– I would to talk about the Lunar New Year festival, also known as the Tet holiday, which is the occasion expected the most by Vietnamese people every year. The festival usually lasts for around 3-4 days, and it takes place when a new year comes according to the lunar calendar.
– The Lunar New Year festival takes place because it is one of the most well-known traditions of Vietnam. Our people have been celebrating this occasion for thousands of years, and although there has been some recent argument about whether we should stop celebrating this festival, I do not think this activity will come to an end soon, at least not in the short term.
