There are five of us in my family. I don’t have any siblings. I would have d a sister. I am the only child. My mother’s name is Mai, and she is 50 years old. She is a beautiful woman with long black hair. My Dad’s name is Trung. He is tall and very strong. His job is doctor. We all have a busy lives in day. However in the evening after dinner, we sit together in the living-room talking, sometimes watching a funny movie. My father plays with me on weekends and he teaches me cycling and swimming. My mother makes delicious food for me and also plays with me when she gets time. She also teaches me little cooking. During weekends, we spent time together and sometimes we go for an outing or a movie and enjoy our weekends. On working days, though they are busy, they try spending time with us and looking after our homework and other day to day activities.

My name is Linh and I’m a Vietnamese. I am twenty-four years old. I live in Ho Chi Minh city in the south of Vietnam.
I have a big family with six people. I have two sisters and a brother. My sisters are older and my brother is younger than me. My father is a teacher at a secondary school. He has worked for 35 years in the field and he is my biggest role model in life. My mother is a housewife. She is nice and she is really good at cooking. I love my family so much.
I’m a generous and easy-going person but when it comes to work I’m a competitive perfectionist. I’m also an optimis and outgoing person so I have many friends and other social relationships. I enjoy reading, writing and doing math. I decided to become a Civil Engineer because I have always been fascinated by bridges, buildings, and skyscrapers. A degree in Civil Engineering enables me to achieve my goals and also gives me an opportunity to make a difference in the community.
Five years from now, I want to become a project manager of a construction project. As a project manager, my primary goals are managing people, set budgets, and making decisions of all kinds. I also want to speak English fluently so I can work with people from different countries.

Tôi quyết định trở thành một kỹ sư dân sự vì tôi đã luôn bị cuốn hút bởi những cây cầu, tòa nhà, và nhà cao tầng. Việc có tấm bằng Kỹ thuật Xây dựng cho phép tôi đạt được những mục tiêu của mình và cũng mang lại cho tôi cơ hội để tạo nên sự khác biệt trong cộng đồng.
Năm năm sau, tôi muốn trở thành một người quản lý dự án của một dự án xây dựng. Là một người quản lý dự án, mục tiêu chính của tôi là quản lý con người, ngân sách theo quy định và đưa ra quyết định cho tất cả mọi vấn đề. Tôi cũng muốn nói tiếng Anh lưu loát để có thể làm việc với những người từ các nước khác nhau.

As a traditional family in Vietnam, I have a big one. My family has 5 members, including Mom, Dad, Grandma, sister, and me. My mom’s name is Giang. She has long hair and black eyes. She is a teacher. My Dad’s name is Trung. He is tall and very strong. His job is doctor. For me, my mom is the most beautiful woman, and my dad is the most wonderful man. And my grandma’s name is Tam. She is 95 years old, and next 5 years, we will organize the 100th longevity wishing ceremony, and I look forward to taking part in this ceremony. Besides, another woman who I love so much is my sister. Her name is Linh. She is 26 years old, and she is a beautiful woman Mom. Now, she is living in Ha Noi capital, because of her jobs. Hello, my name is Nguyên Phương. My school's name is Le Quy Don secondary school. It is not far from our house. I go to my school every day on foot. My school is exactly beautiful and big. There is a small playground in our school-compound. During the break time, we play there. We play many sports such as volley-ball, badminton. There are two swings on the side, We swing there merrily. We also have a good library on the ground floor of the school-building. Our librarian is Ms Thuy Linh. She helps us in selecting good books. We take books on loan to read. The students of our school are gentle and disciplined. There is not much noise in our school. Our Principal is very strict. But he is also kind to all. I am happy as a student of my school. People say: Family where life begins and love never ends. There is only love from bottom of the heart that could realize the meaning of that saying. My family is made up of 3 people: my mother, my younger brother and I. My parents have divorced for 10 years. Since the pain that my mother had to suffer is too big so she doesn’t get marriage again and she has tried all her best to take care of us. My mother’s main job is a pilot at Vietname Airlines. Her flights could be last for a few days or even a week. Sometimes we only meet her at the weekend. But my mother did hire an old house maid who is very careful and nice to take care of me and my brother while she is busy at work. We always look forward to receiving mother’s gifts after a flight. Left all the mess behind, my mother becomes a strong woman that she even couldn’t imagine before. About my younger brother, he is the most mischievous person that I have ever known. Last semester, my brother’s teacher came to see my mother three times a week to complain about the things that he had done. However, he is very good at swimming. In addition, he is one of ten excellent students in school. That’s why my mother always tolerant of his bad behaviours. In the opposite of my brother, I am quite staid and taciturn. But we are still very close and think about each other as a bestfriend. That makes my mother is so happy. Now, I am no longer stay at home, I moved to Ho Chi Minh 2 months ago to study at university. I miss my mother, my brother and even my house maid so much. No matter how far I am away from home, my family is always in my heart because “family where life begins and love never ends”.

Thêm vào đó, nó còn là một trong 10 học sinh xuất sắc nhất trường. Đó là lý do mà mẹ tôi luôn tha thứ những hành vi không tốt của nó. Trái ngược với em trai, tôi khá trầm tính và ít nói. Nhưng chúng tôi vẫn rất thân thiết và xem nhau như bạn thân. Điều đó làm mẹ tôi rất hạnh phúc. Tôi bây giờ không còn ở nhà nữa. Tôi đã chuyển đến Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh để học đại học 2 tháng trước. Dù tôi có đi xa nhà đến đâu thì gia đình vẫn luôn nằm trong trái tim tôi bởi vì “gia đình là nơi cuộc sống bắt đầu và tình yêu không bao giờ hết”.

My family is my home. My family has three people, my parents and I. My parents are the Guards working at the Capital Command. Although busy at work, my parents still care for me every little bit. I am the only son in the family. This year I am in grade 2, Minh Khai Primary School. I always try to study well to make my parents happy. I love my family very much. I hope my family is always full of laughter.

My father is an engineer at a construction site near my home. My father is very busy. He usually had to stand outside all day. So he has a tanned skin. However, one day he still spends time playing with me. My mother is a good housewife. Every day I can eat delicious dishes that I cook. Mother takes care of her family very well. Your school is the institution you owe so much to. As a child you enter into school in kindergarten, and it is your teacher who teaches you the alphabets and the numbers in class. Year after year as you grow up and complete class after class you keep on learning, assimilating knowledge and developing a well-rounded personality.
You also become more and more capable and equipped to do your duties and responsibilities as a good citizen and fine human being. I still remember, when I was 10 years old, my parents let me go to my hometown to play. It is a beautiful peaceful countryside with vast rice fields. It was summer, it was hot, in the afternoon I went to the dike to strip my house and play kites with some kids near my house, I must say it was fun. I also enjoyed the fish cooked by her own hands. Around 5 pm, I went to the river to bathe, the water was cool, I played in the water until more than 6 o'clock. In the evening, I and my friends went to the field to catch fireflies. At that time, it was so fun, but not like now, every child is glued to the TV, computer, phone. I will always remember that trip.
