Hi! Nice to see you all! I’m Linh Chi. I’m a student at Bình Định High School. I enjoy reading sci-fi books and scouting. My favourite subject is English. I am now focusing on improving my communication skills in English as I would like to study abroad after graduation. I think I am a sociable and talkative person. Enviroment is the most important thing for our life. Enviroment is the air we breath, the water we drink and is everything we need for our life. But now that most important thing for our life is being polluted and by many different ways. This pollution affects the health of living things. Air is damaged by car and lorry fumes, and power stations create acid rain which destroys entire forests and lakes. When fossil fuels i.e. oil, gas and coal are burned to provide energy for lighting, cooking etc. they form polluting gases. Not only on land but also in the sea, oils spills pollute sea water and kill marine life; chemical waste from factories and sewage works, and artificial fertilisers from farmland, pollute river water, killing wildlife and spreading disease. Everything is being caused by human’s existence. Humans create such a lot of rubbish! Each household produces about 1 tonne of rubbish every year! Most of this is taken away by dustmen and buried in enormous landfill sites or burned in incinerators - both of these actions can be dangerous for the environment.
But only we can change it and solve it. Pollution can be prevented by thing we do everyday. First we can use recycled paper to help save trees. Second try to avoid buying plastic. It's hard to recycle. One way to cut down on plastic is to refuse to use carrier bags. If we can’t avoid buying plastic bags, we should use re-use plastic bags over and over again, until they wear out. Finally we should take your old clothes to charity shops, some are sold. To protect environment we also have to save energy. Use less energy by switching off lights when rooms are not in use, not wasting water; don’t forget to switch off all electric things when they are not in use, use a bicycle or walk instead of using a car for short trips we can save energy, keep clean atmosphere and keep healthy life. Lighting accounts for 10 percent to 15 percent of the electricity bill. However, this amount can be reduced by replacing an ordinary 100-watt light bulb with an energy-saving bulb and we still trying to invent the new thing to save money as well as conserve the Earth’s resources.
Keep clean environment isn’t only all ways are mentioned before but also to protect natural resources. That is the way to conserver wild life. First we need to conserve the old forest, rainforest, build more safari and national park, and plant more trees to make place to live for wild animals. Second we need to prohibit hunters who hunt animals too many out of the law allowance.
Finally, we now know that enviroment is the most important thing for life and we know how to protect and use it scientifically. Everyday we invent and find more and more way to protect enviroment. I hope that in the future the earth will be cleaner

I have been studying English since I was in secondary, and I realized that I had gain a lot of benefits from learning that language. First, English makes me become much more confident in communicating and expressing my opinion. Through practicing in speaking class, I can develop both my communicating and pronouncing skills. Second, English is a good supporting subject for my writing skill. By following the available grammars, I can gradually know how to make more convincing arguments as well as give demonstrating examples. Third, listening skill helps me to have more focus to the details in every conversation. In that way I can collect more valuable information in just a short time. Besides, I can also develop me note-taking skills since it is necessary to have a good note while I am listening to lectures. Last, what I had learnt in reading skill can be applied perfectly in reading any kind of material. By scanning and skimming, I can understand thoroughly the main ideas of each page. In sum up, all of the four skills of English can particularly help me in a lot of aspects. I am happy that I started learning English at a very young age, and I will continue to practice it

In my opinion, customs and traditions are very important. Like other families, we have our own customs and traditions. Firstly, there's a tradition in our family of getting together on the first day of Tet. Everyone has tobe there throughout the day. We share every thing with my family members. Secondly, we have the custom of doing morning exercise at 5 a.m together. We always get up early and follow this customs. Thanks to doing morning exercise, we have good health. Thirdly, we visit the pagoda on the first day of every lunar month. This custom is that we have to buy fruit or incense for the pagoda each year. This year, we also prepared five-coloured sticky rice and worshipped Buddha. We all enjoy these customs and traditions because they provide our family with a sense of belonging.

Tet is a national and family festival. It is an occasion for every Vietnamese to have a good time while thinking about the last year and the next year. At Tet, spring fairs are organized, streets and public buildings are brightly decorated and almost all shops are crowded with people shopping for Tet. At home, every is tidied, special food is cooked, offerings of food, fresh water, flowers and betel are made on the family altar with burning joss- sticks scenting the air. First-footing is made when the lucky visitor comes and children are given lucky money wrapped in a red tiny envelope. Tet is also a time for peace and love. During Tet, children often behave well and friends, relatives and neighbors give each other best wishes for the new year.
What would you do after a hard day at school and you want to entertaining. It simple, just turn on your TV. Music channel, comedy channel or cartoon channel... is your choice, just pick a channel. And not only entertaining, TV can also help you update the news from all over the world in the end of the day. When you bore you can go anywhere you like: Paris, New York, London just pick travel channel. As you can see TV have many advantages but you still can deny it have a disadvantage. Now you have about 30 channel with you favorite program and you don't want to miss. And you end up spend all day long to watch TV, and you forget to do other thing. Like hang out with your friend, sea everything with your own eye, or just forget to focus study for the exam. You can control your life, you are the boss, so you should find the best way to rise your TV, so it only have advantages.
