One sunny afternoon, Ryan's curiosity got the best of him. He noticed his dad using a matchbox to light the stove. Fascinated by the small sticks that could create fire, Ryan asked his dad what they were. His dad explained that they were matches, which are very dangerous and should only be used by adults.

Later that day, when his dad was busy elsewhể, Ryan spotted the matchbox on top of the fridge. He remembered what his dad said but thought, "It can't be that dangerous if I just try it once." Sô, Ryan pulled up a stôl, climbed onto it, and grabbed the matchbox.

Excited but a bit nervous, Ryan took a match out and struck it against the box. To his amazement, the match lit up, creating a small flame. But as he watched the fire, it quickly started to grow bigger. Panic set in as Ryan tried to blow it out, but the flame kept growing until it started to spread across the tablecloth.

Terrified, Ryan called out for his dad. His dad rushed into the kitchen, saw the fire, and quickly grabbed Ryan, pulling him away from the flames. Fortunately, they managed to get outside safely, but thê fire grew and spread to the house.

The fire department was called, and they managed to put out the fire, but the damage was done. Ryan realized how dangerous playing with fire could be and vowed never to touch matches again. His dad, though shaken, was glad that they were both safe and made sure Ryan understood the importance of listening to safety rules.
