One sunny afternoon, Ryan's curiosity got the best of him. He noticed his dad using a matchbox to light the stove. Fascinated by the small sticks that could create fire, Ryan asked his dad what they were. His dad explained that they were matches, which are very dangerous and should only be used by adults.

The fire department was called, and they managed to put out the fire, but the damage was done. Ryan realized how dangerous playing with fire could be and vowed never to touch matches again. His dad, though shaken, was glad that they were both safe and made sure Ryan understood the importance of listening to safety rules.
