1. Many people around the world know about the Golden Rule. The Golden Rule is to treat others like you would want them to treat you. Versions of this rule go back thousands of years. In fact, more than 2000 years ago, a man named Confucius had a similar idea. His idea was, “What you do not wish for yourself, do not do to others.”
2. Confucius was a philosopher from China. He thought about the ways people should behave. One of his main ideas was that people should behave morally. They should love others and treat them well and fairly. He also felt that people should respect their families and important relationships.
