I’ve always been proud to be born into my family. One of the things I am most proud of is the carpentry tradition. My family has been a carpenter for three generations. Also, since childhood, I have seen many beautiful wooden products. To be able to create those products, it must go through many different steps. First, my dad will choose the type of wood and their size. After that, my dad will measure and cut the pieces of the wood to match. Next my dad will shape the wooden pieces. Once the wood pieces are finished, my dad will paint them with beautiful colors. I love watching my dad work. When I was growing up I wanted to continue the work my dad was doing. From there, many beautiful and useful wooden products can be created.

There are five people in my family. I have a father, a mother, a sister, and a younger sister. The first one is my father. He looks fastidious and bad tempered. When I was young, I used to fear him very much whenever I met him. But I love him now. My mother is a gentle and careful. Although she is a woman, she isn’t good at cooking. Both of my parents are fastidious. We often talk to my mother much than my father. My sister and younger sister look beautiful and lovely. They’re shy when they meet the stranger. People say that I look my father thanner. However, some people say I look my mother. And that make me happy

MY HOMETOWN TODAY

My hometown has changed a lot – it’s definitely not .....the same as................... it was before. It’s not ....as quiet as..................... it was 5 years ago. It’s much more noisy, but I prefer it now. There are more shops and restaurants. The restaurants are ....different from....................... the ones we had before. Now we can eat many different kinds of food – Italian, French, and even Mexican!

There have been so many changes. Even the streets are not ......as narrow as.......................... they were before. They are wider now to make space for the extra traffic.

One thing hasn’t changed though. The people here are as warm and .........friendly as......................... before. That’s one thing that’s .......the same as................... it was before.
