It was Thursday evening .Nick and his mum were in the kitchen.It was hot and Nick (1) ........opened......... the window. Then Mum started to (2)..........cook........ the evening meal. She said, "It 's fish and chips tonight "

Nick said, "mum,I don't fish .Can we have burgers, please ?"

"No ,sorry . Fish is good for you," she  said.Nick (3)...........sat........... down to do his homework .Some of it was very difficult and Mum ,came to help him .
