Fifty years ago, Greenfield was very small and quiet. People walked or used bicycles to travel. There wasn't a shopping mall, so people bought their food at the market. There wasn't a sports center or playground. At weekends, children played outside. They played games like hide-and-seek and tug of war.

Now, Greenfield is very different. People drive cars, ride scooters or travel by bus. There is a big shopping mall in the town center, and lots of people go there every day. There are parks, sports centers and playgrounds, but many children don't play outside because they like playing games on their computers and phones.
