 Together, We're Stronger. 

On September 7, 2024, Super Typhoon Yagi made landfall in northern Vietnam, causing severe loss of life and widespread destruction of property. Prolonged heavy rainfall triggered extensive flooding in numerous low-lying areas. Provinces such as Phu Tho, Yen Bai, Lao Cai, and Cao Bang were particularly hard-hit, with hundreds of individuals reported dead, missing, or injured as a result of flash floods and landslides. Over 700 homes sustained damage, with Quang Ninh and Lang Son suffering the most severe impacts.

In addition, the agricultural sector experienced substantial losses, as floodwaters devastated large areas of rice fields and crops, significantly disrupting the livelihoods of farmers.
